Catchmaster® Tree Banding Glue is a non-toxic, long-lasting adhesive compound that forms a barrier against climbing insects.
Tree Banding Glue can be spread across banding material that is wrapped around vines and fruit or shade trees to prevent insects from migrating upwards. Can be used on non-porous surfaces where insects are likely to crawl.
Tree Banding provides an insect barrier for Fruit Trees, Shade Trees and Vines. It traps thousands of insects such as Spotted Lanternfly, Cankerworms, Gypsy Moths, Winter Moths, Black Vine Weevil, Ants, Stink bugs and other crawling insects. Tree Banding will interrupt breeding cycles, monitor pests and reduce populations.

Wrap standard plastic wrap around the tree trunk. Utilize a slotted spreader to spread insect barrier adhesive over the wrap uniformly and as close to the edges as possible. Use a 3/16" spreader for spotted lantern flies or a 1/4" spreader for cankerworms. When it comes time for removal, simply cut the band with a knife, dispose, and create a new band if necessary.
Place tree bands on your property at chest or head level so as to avoid contact with pets and children.
