Imio Root is a natural alternative to synthetic rooting gels for propagating healthier clones and better transplants. Made of naturally occurring microbes* (fungi and bacteria), Imio Root supports the development and architecture of the root system, reduces transplant shock, and improves vegetative growth. It can be used on a wide variety of plants including, but not limited to, cannabis, tomatoes, roses, grape vines, lavender, begonias and grasses.

The natural production of plant hormones and the symbiotic relationship between microbes and plants provides healthier vegetative growth and ongoing support through flower. Root is shipped as a freeze-dried powder so that the microbes are shelf-stable and protected in transit. Each Root packet contains a plant-based gelling agent (guar-gum) to provide a convenient, dippable gel consistency.

SUGGESTED APPLICATION

Activating Root:

Prior to use, activate powdered microbes by adding the appropriate volume of water to the pouch (Home Grower size, treats 16 cuts) or jar (Root 20ml, 200ml, 500ml, 1L). If stored in the refrigerator, your activated Root will last for 45 days.  If you’re storing Root in your refrigerator between uses, please allow 15 min+ for the microbes to warm up before using them.

Product Size / Water to activate

• Imio Root Home Grower size (treats 16 cuts) - 1 tsp (5mL) water
• Root 20ml (treats 100 cuts) - 4 tsp (20mL) water
• Root 200ml (treats 1,000 cuts) - 200 mL water
• Root 500ml (treats 2,500 cuts) - 500 mL water
• Root 1L (treats 5,000 cuts) - 1L water

For the Home Grower size (16 cuts): Cut open pouch and add 1 tsp (5mL) of water directly to the pouch. After adding the water, fold the top of the pouch over two times and mix/shake to dissolve. Set the pouch aside for 10-15 minutes to allow the product to gel.

For the 20ml, 200ml, 500ml, and 1L sizes: Cut open the pouch and pour powder into the provided Imio glass jar. Add water to the “fill to here line” that coordinates with your product size. Place the lid on the jar and shake for 10 seconds to dissolve. Set the jar aside for 10-15 minutes to allow the product to gel.

To propagate cuttings/clones:

Dip the cut end of the plant into gel and swirl for 3-5 seconds. Place treated cutting into desired growth medium or propagation vessel

To water in with seedlings:

Add 1 teaspoon / 5mL of Root per gallon of water and shake or mix vigorously to incorporate into water. Water plants as normal.
