What it does: Slow-release nitrogen (up to 12%) that lasts 6 to 9 months or longer in soils with low biological activity.
Garden rate: 25 to 50 lb per 1,000 sq ft, or 200 to 400 lb per acre on a farm.
Good to know: Not water soluble, so blend it into the soil rather than using it as a liquid feed. Granulated is available on request.

Suggested Application
Feather Meal is not water soluble and does not make a good liquid fertilizer. When adding it to a garden as a nitrogen source, blend it into the soil to start the decomposition that makes the nitrogen compounds available to plants.
