Therm X-70 is a natural wetting agent made from yucca extract. It helps crops establish in stressed conditions, improves water and fertilizer uptake, and works as a spreader-sticker with fertilizers and insecticides.
Key things we want you to know
Active ingredient: 20% saponin from Yucca schidigera.
Wetting agent rate: 1/4 tsp per gallon of water for under an acre.
Soil treatment rate: 1 to 2 tsp per gallon of water for under an acre.
Key Product Highlights
- Saponins improve the soil's absorption and dispersal of nutrients and water by reducing surface tension, so roots can absorb more of what is available.
- Yucca extracts help reduce salt buildup by limiting dry pocket formation and increasing permeability in clay soils. With heavy mineral buildup, less water may be needed to flush the soil.
- Saponins and complex carbohydrates provide a slow-release food source for soil microorganisms, which is why many compost tea recipes include yucca extract.
- Increases permeability in heavy clay soil and reduces salt and alkalinity problems by improving drainage.
- Stimulates root growth, which can extend the area irrigation reaches and help reduce irrigation costs.
Suggested Application
Wetting agent:
- Per acre, use 2 to 3 oz mixed with enough water to cover the area.
- For less than one acre, use 1/4 tsp per gallon of water.
Soil treatment: Use once per year on pH neutral to acidic soil and twice per year on alkaline soil.
- Per acre, use 16 oz mixed with enough water to cover the entire area.
- For less than one acre, use 1 to 2 tsp per gallon of water.
