Suggested Application
Caution in potting mixes: Using more than 1% could cause a lack of seed germination or stunt young plants.
- Use full strength, or mixed with other inputs such as kelp, seaweed or manure at 10% to 15% by weight.
- Apply before planting (the area can be prepared up to a week or 10 days ahead), during planting, or around the root zone of established plants.
- Mix into the soil 6 to 8 inches deep or use as a basal dressing.
- Coverage: 180 to 360 lb per acre, or 1 lb for plots of 100 to 160 sq ft.
