Key things we want you to know
Glacial Rock Dust remineralizes soil with a broad range of trace minerals, ground to 74 microns and available in 10, 15, 25 and 50 lb sizes.
Remineralize Your Soil
Glacial Rock Dust contains a broad range of trace minerals that have been slowly lost through the ages by erosion, leaching and farming. It improves soil vitality and plant health.
Glacial rock dust is a natural mineral product created over many thousands of years by glacial action. A wide variety of rocks containing a broad spectrum of trace minerals are collected and pulverized by the expansion and contraction of the glacier. As the glacier recedes, it leaves behind deposits of glacial moraine, which are mined, dried and screened for agricultural and horticultural remineralization.
Today nearly all agricultural land is depleted of trace minerals, due in part to the exclusive use of chemical fertilizers and groundwater pollution. Both plants and animals, including humans, benefit from a regular supply of trace minerals, which are best transferred to the human body through vegetables grown in soil rich in trace minerals.
Key Product Highlights
- Broad Range of Trace Minerals: Replaces minerals lost to erosion, leaching and farming.
- Finely Ground to 74 Microns: Trace minerals must be finely ground into rock dust to be absorbed quickly by plants.
- Slow-Release: Minerals are released slowly in the soil over many years.
- Natural Glacial Origin: Mined from glacial moraine deposits, then dried and screened.
Because the rock dust is so finely ground, it reacts like clay and clumps together when any amount of moisture is added.
