Pacific Gro Oceanic Hydrolysate (now transitioning to the Tidal Grow brand) is one of the most biologically active liquid seafood fertilizers available. The formulation is unchanged; only the branding is moving to Tidal Grow.

It is made from wild-caught Pacific salmon, shrimp and crab sourced off the coasts of Washington and Oregon. The cold-processed hydrolysate delivers marine nutrients, plant-available calcium, fish oils, amino acids and enzymes, plus compounds that help stimulate soil biology, especially beneficial fungi.

Key things we want you to know

Never heat processed: No heat is applied and no fish oils are removed.

Dilution: About 30:1 (1/2 cup per gallon of water) for general use.

Shipping: Bottles cannot be sealed airtight. Minor seepage in transit is normal and does not affect quality.

Certifications: OMRI Listed, CDFA Certified Organic Input Material, WSDA Organic Input Material

Storage & Handling

  • Do not store diluted product.
  • Store in a cool, shaded location.
  • Wash exposed skin with water after handling.

Shipping Notice

This product cannot be sealed in an airtight container because of natural pressure buildup during storage and transit. Bottles are packed in protective bags, but minor seepage during shipping is normal and does not affect product quality.

Production Process

Fresh seafood processing residuals from salmon, shrimp and crab are ground into a slurry and processed at room temperature using a proprietary vortex digestion system that relies on enzymes already present in the seafood. No external enzymes or microbes are added, no fish oil is removed and no heat is used. The product is stabilized with acid, then screened multiple times to a final 150 mesh consistency suitable for irrigation systems and sprayers.
