Returns 

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact us at (425) 558-0990 within 5 days. All other returns must be made within 30 days from the receipt of the items. All returned items must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition in which you received it. We are unable to return any items after 30 days.

We are not able to return any bulk products like soil once they leave our facility due to the risk of contamination.

Special Provisions for Potting Soil
1. Limited Warranty and Exclusive Remedy
KiS Organics warrants that our potting soil meets our published quality parameters at the time of shipment. The customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any alleged defect, failure of the product, or breach of warranty is limited to:

A refund of the actual purchase price paid for the specific portion of the soil found to be non-conforming.

This refund is the customer’s only recourse; KiS Organics will not provide replacement soil, nor will it be responsible for shipping, handling, or disposal costs.

2. Compost and Inert Materials Disclosure
Certain KiS Organics soil blends contain high-quality compost derived from recycled organic matter.

Nature of Compost: Because compost is a product of recycled post-consumer green waste, it may contain trace amounts of inert materials (such as small fragments of plastic or glass) that were not removed during the sifting and screening process. If this is a concern we do offer potting mixes that contain zero post consumer waste.

Compliance: All compost used by KiS Organics meets or exceeds applicable regulatory standards for safety and quality.

Warranty Exclusion: The presence of minor amounts of inert materials is a characteristic of organic compost-based soils and does not constitute a product defect. KiS Organics provides no warranty against, and will not issue refunds for, the presence of such materials within commercially acceptable regulatory limits.

3. Maximum Liability Cap
In no event shall the total aggregate liability of KiS Organics for any claim—whether arising in contract, negligence, strict liability, or tort—exceed the actual purchase price of the soil, or $10,000.00, whichever is less.

4. Exclusion of Consequential Damages
KiS Organics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to: loss of crops, loss of revenue or profits, labor costs, or damage to other property or equipment. By purchasing this soil, the buyer expressly assumes all risks associated with crop performance, plant health, and final yields.

5. Mandatory Pre-Use Testing (Large Volumes)
For orders exceeding 20 cubic yards, the customer has an affirmative duty to inspect and test the soil for suitability prior to large-scale application. Customers interested in larger volumes are encouraged to contact KiS Organics to have specific batches batch-tested prior to fulfillment. Failure to request batch testing or to perform independent small-scale trials on a representative sample of the 20+ cubic yard order constitutes a waiver of claims related to soil performance.

6. Claims and Laboratory Analysis
No claim for "unacceptable" soil will be considered unless the following conditions are met within 15 days of the discovery of the alleged issue:

Detailed Explanation: A written report detailing the specific failure, including environmental conditions, water quality, and application methods.

Chemical Analysis: At the request of KiS Organics, the customer must provide a soil report from Logan Labs to determine if the media is outside of our standard quality parameters.

Heavy Metal Testing: If the claim involves contamination, analysis must be performed by Cannabis ChemLab (or another ISO-certified facility approved by KiS Organics).

Sample Integrity: KiS Organics reserves the right to deny any claim where the soil has been amended, mixed with other media, or improperly stored.
